Rice pudding/clotted cream help!!

I want to make rice pudding but bought semi-skimmed milk out of habit instead of full fat. I have some clotted cream. Can I augment the milk with it or will it all go horribly wrong? Can't get to shops until Monday.

I would make it with the milk and stir in the clotted cream to serve.

Thanks, reallybadidea (good name!). DH got home early last night and had got blue milk from the garage on the way home! I shall keep the clotted cream for the scones, but if there's any left after tea, I'll stir it into the pudding as you suggest - it sounds decadent so needs to be done Wink

In the end, I fed everyone a year's supply of cholesterol in one small bowl each! Blue milk AND double cream AND clotted cream. Oh and some rice and sugar etc thrown in for good measure.

It was jolly yum. Smile
