Can you still get Turkey Rashers in the UK?

Apparently it's big in Dubai and Oz. I seem to remember Bernard Matthews did them and they were quite tasty.

Yes you can get them in tesco

I think asda still sell them. They do make a tasty sandwich.

Couldn't see them in Tesco in the bacon or turkey shelves - would they be anywhere else? Will try Asda next.

Halal fake 'bacon' is always made out of Turkey so if you have an ethnic food store near by tbey may have them

Apparently only asda and ocado has them.

I don't think they taste like real bacon! DH doesn't like pork so I used to get them. But after much complaining from me, he compromised and we get real bacon now. We don't use bacon as a main ingredient anyway. Just fry them with oil in things like bolognese.

Dd(11) is experimenting with how vegetarian she can manage to be (eating fish & poultry because they're not cute). Even though it's daft I thought I'd try and support her as she's never really challenged herself before and I'm interested to see if she'll keep it up.

I see DH was brought up vegetarian. He can handle chicken and seafood now. He is not doing it for religious reasons so it's mainly by taste. So chorizo and bacon in small amounts is ok. So is beef fat in chip. But big roast chicken and steak is a no no.
