Hello, youngest has had to go dairy free and to top it off he's an incredibly picky eater! If he could eat sausage and mash every night he'd be happy! Does anyone have recipes or ideas to tempt?

Could you try doing variations of sausage and mash? Maybe sneak some veggies in his mash carrots blend in well. Sausage pasta with a tomato based sauce.

Just check his sausage are df op, you'd be surprised how many processed meats contain dairy.

How about spag Bol. Roast dinner, just check the gravy. bistro best of is df! Yorkshire puds made with unsweetened almond milk. Homemade burgers are usually good. Have you tried cheese substitutes too?

For puddings you can make rice pudding with almond milk, tinned fruit and jelly, and for treats Mrs Crimbles coconut macaroons and most basic range biscuits are df.

If he's old enough, borrow the Boy's Cookbook from Usborne. Lots of great recipes and if he chooses one and cooks it with you he might like it Smile

Oh and most jus rol products are df. The crosaints are easy for little ones to help with and make a nice breakfast and I'm yet to meet a child that will refuse a nice blueberry pancake made with almond milk.
