Delia's lamb shank and bean recipe - any good?

in How to Cook 3 I think, and is a one pot meal using pulses and red wine- cooked for about 4 hours. Anyone tried it?

no but often do lamb shanks slow cooked .. they are delicious .. have done with red wine too .. yum .. and also have added beans so double yum

I would imagine it will be delicious

serve with mash and greens

yes, I have done it and it is absolutely delish. One of my fave dinner party meals because you shove it in the pot and then leave it so very easy to manage with guests etc.!

I have lamb shanks and was going to just bung in whatever I can find (as per usual) ... would like to see recipe (then I'll just bung in whatever I can find as per usual )

yes looks pretty similar to what I'd do .. although I'd use a tin of chopped tomatoes and more carrots
