We have a shoulder of lamb slowly roasting in the oven, in a tin tightly covered with foil. It has 4hrs left to go.
If I make a cake in the same oven at the same time, will the cake end up tasting lamby?!
Even though the lamb is covered in foil, the whole kitchen smells of it so I am a little nervous of wasting cake making efforts. Much as I love lamb, I don't think its meaty flavour would enhance a cherry cake....
