Help - best way to cook sausages for tonight, grill, fry or oven?!

I bought some really nice good quality sausages from a local farm shop today. I had a taster bite of a cooked one at the counter and they were delicious. I don't want to ruin them with my crap sausage-cooking skills...

Grill, fry or oven?!

Grill I fear has more chance to go wrong/be uneven or overdone.
Fry I worry will be too greasy
Oven I worry they'll go wrinkly and weird

What's the best method!? (Not lean mean fat grilling machine or other kitchen gadgets I don't have)

Wow, the Jamie Oliver cherry tomato and sausage dish was fabulous, we got the dcs to make it for Mother's Day with mash - so simple and such a crowd pleaser, it's defintely a family favourite. Many thanks to Cointreau Flowers

Well, it's thanks to Jamie, really. Smile

Well I followed hotdogdiggity's method which was brown in frying pan then oven for half an hour til nice and caramelised served with herby new potatoes done in microwave (couldn't be arsed to do mash...) peas and gravy, and it came out lovely.

The Jamie Oliver recipe sounds nice. I'll go back to the farm shop and get those lovely sausages again and this time I'll give that one a try! Best thing is it sounds like almost a full meal in itself so only requires a salad and something carby like bread or potatoes to complete.
