Condensed mushroom soup VS Heinz cream of mushroom - for a recipe.

DH picked up a few bits at the supermarket but apparently "mushroom soup is mushroom soup"!

It's for pork tenderloin, I pan-fry it then lightly fry onions and mushrooms in the same pan, stir in soup plus a handful of grated cheese, whole lot in a casserole dish in the oven. It's lovely.

Will Heinz make it runny? Confused

Yep, it won't work voice of bitter experience

Although I used it in pasta bake - if you boiled it to buggery in the pan first it may reduce down enough?

I wonder if I stirred some cornflour into the cold soup first, would it thicken or just be vile?
