and I'm looking for about a week's worth of recipes that'll wow them . Have already made a lasagne (new Delia recipe) and a chicken ,leek and parsley pie (Good Food and v yummy) for the freezer. Am thinking a salmon dish for one night and posibly a veritable Indian feast for another!! Any suggestions? MIL also loves puds so a crumble and lemon meringue pie are definites but looking for more scrummy pud ideas.

Thank you, oh wise ones

stuff chicken breast with mushrooms, leeks, peppers and cheese, wrap in bacon drizzel in olive oil wrap in foil and cook in oven, serve with rice.

Braised lamb shanks? Always better if made ahead and reheated. Ditto for curries (I'll let you know how the Nigel Slater one goes - see other thread )

Sticky toffee pudding? There's one in a Nigella book that is easy and tasty (Nigella Bites I think)

That Nigella sticky toffee pud is great and so easy. Chop the dates up small though.

brilliant, thanks! I have lamb shanks in the freezer. Have never cooked them before though. There is a recipe in this month's or October's Good Food. Are they easy to do? Sticky toffee pud sounds perfect for MIL who has such a sweet tooth
