What to do with cold roast beef ... And is it OK to use?

I have just got home and have seen some left over roast beef in the fridge (dh usually eats it cold so i don't get a chance to re-use it generally!)

Anyway, roast was Sunday. it smells fine (bit is over 3 days, or do i not include Sunday?) ... Would you chance it?

Oh, and what can i do with it if it is OK?

Thanks for any advice ...

If it smells ok then it should be fine.

You can chop it up finely and use in a sort of ragu, or curry, or of course the traditional use for leftover roast meat, cottage pie.

Thanks. I can't freeze it to use it next week, can I?

I have been known to do this, and always survived so far.

Roast beef baguettes!

Fry off onions and peppers
Gently cooked thinly sliced beef in gravy
Cut baguettes lengthways I like to use the part-baked ones for that just fresh out the oven taste, so bake em first whilst prepping veg
Stuff with beef, onions and peppers
Top with cheese
Shove under grill til cheese melted

Pour excess gravy into bowl for dipping
Stuff face.

Have plenty of napkins on standby.

Heaven on a plate Grin
