Fruit & Fibre for 3yo?

My DSs have started asking for my F&Fibre at breakfast. At first I thought as name suggests there may be too much fibre in it, however on reading the box, small shredded wheats have more fibre, 10% vs 9% and they seem marketed at kids. I'd be grateful for opinions. One DS has been a bit loose since and I wonder if it's the cereal or his cold?

My 4 year old has been eating bran flakes with sultanas for months and he is fine. Control the portion and I should think the cold is more likely to be effecting his poo. Just enjoy he is not asking for Honey Shreddies or something else like that!

My 2 and 5 year olds eat mine with no obvious adverse effects. Much better for them than sugary rubbish!

Thanks for your replies, think I will carry on, as you say better than sugary alternatives.
