loin of pork

Just bought a reduced loin of pork, glos old spot. I was thinking I could cut it up into 8 chops and then freeze them two at a time. I'm right aren't I that that is all pork loin chops are - chopped up loin of Pork?

Or would I be missing out on a lovely roast by doing that? I just think there's only two of us so it would be better as chops.

Also any recipes welcomed.

You probably can slice them into chops (depends how the loin has been cut- if it has been boned then you can cut into pork loin steaks, if it hasn't been boned it depends if it has been chined properly so the individual bones are separable).

But, yes, you would also be missing out on a lovely roast. Why not cut in half, use one half for a roast and then slice the other half into chops.

It's lovely roasted on top of a bed of rhubarb.

I've chopped it into 8 chops, before I saw your suggestion. It was boneless so really easy. Like the idea of rhubarb though, I'm sure that could work with chops...
