Any suggestions for (slow cooker) lamb shank recipes without red wine?

I used to cook the lamb shanks with red wine, and it was lovely but haven't done so in almost a year. I've now got lamb shanks but don't want to use the wine anymore.

So does anyone have an decent recipe please

I don't have a slow cooker, but do lamb shanks with lentils, garlic and rosemary - I'm sure there will be a recipe out there :)

Onions, garlic, tomatoes, anchovies and black olives is delicious, I serve it with orzo.

Thank. Stuck it all in the slowcooker this morning to discover it's broken!!

I'd forgotten about the successful marriage of lamb and anchovies. So shall add those when I stick them in the oven later.

There are a lot of recipes out there certainly but I do like a personal (in a manner of speaking) suggestion.
