I've foolishly agreed to bake a few dozen biscuits for DP's work (he works with children). My instinctive reaction was Rainy Day Biscuits from Feast (I think), but he says they have to be nut free (not guaranteed nut free in terms of flour or anything, but no actual nuts - seems bonkers to me but there we are).
Has anyone tried them without the ground almonds? Will it screw up the texture of them?
