Chocolate eclair topping

I am planning on making eclairs for a colleagues birthday, I have previously just used chocolate to ice but looking at various recipes online some use water icing with cocoa powder or a sort of ganache (sp) what works best?

Chocolate ganache-melt chocolate and add cream slowly. I use it to cover cakes, so be lovely on Eclairs.
