Yes, I am being suckered in by commercials, but it does look good. Has anyone got one, do you use it, or will it be put in a cupboard and never used after the first weekend?

It is an electric one High, one button push jobby.

I love the idea of it, but I really am a sucker for kitchen gadgets Blush

Ah ok, i did look into getting one of those (not that brand as I am not in UK) but i ended up with the stove top one for various reasons.

My reasons Wink :

We have a lot of electricity load shedding (they turn off our electricity for 2 hrs at a time to save the load on the grid - i know its like going back in bloody time, and sods law so far is that ours is always in the evening). We have gas hob and therefore we wouldn't be able to use the electric one during our off times.

Takes up too much space on the countertop

Something can go wrong with the electric one as is my luck with kitchen applicances, they never last more than two years

I am a gadget queen too Wink

I don't have that particular one as am not in UK but I do have an electric pressure cooker, have had it since they first became available so a few years. I'd always used the stove top version as I cook almost everything in the pressure cooker.
Much as I liked the regular one (I still have it, two sizes with one lid) the electric one was a revelation and I use it daily.
I do everything in it and have bought a second inner pot so that if for example I make meat or chicken in it and am making mash or rice to go with it I take out the inner pot with the cooked meat and put in the other pot with rice or potatoes or steaming basket and vegetables. That way when the second dish is cooked I put back in the main dish to warm up.
I also have a glass lid to use when browning in pot and also a steaming basket for vegetables.
Can you tell I love my electric pressure cooker? Grin

You may want to have a look at some sites before you purchase to see how versatile they are when you make the most of them.
