DS has now progressed from veg and fruit to pasta, rice, bread, chicken, tomato sauces, cheese sauces.... Anyone got any tried and tested recipes/meal ideas as I am having a brain blank.

He has had bolognese sauce out of a jar and sweet and sour sauce too.

TIA

As long as it is not salted, he can have anything you have, bar honey.

Check out the Baby Led Weaning threads in development or parenting or some such place - they have lots of stuff around this.

I often cook sweet potato and add fresh broccoli, carrots and blend.

Lentils, tomatoes, onion, courgettes

Chickpeas, lemon juice and veg

Beef stew

Risotto is a great one for babies and uyou can put anything in. Also champ, ie mash with veg mixed in.

strips of lasagne if doing BLW.

And any kind of fritter if BLW

I could go on but most things won't suit if not BLW.

If it's spoon feeding, then lentils, risotto, fried rice, cottage pie, porridge, chilli. Anything that's mushy in texture.

For finger food, toast, omelette stripes, fruit, muffins, roast meat.

The point is from 6m they can eat anything bar honey, whole nuts and a few other things. (Runny eggs, some high mercury fish etc).

You don't need special recipe or food.
