As it says, don't want to spend a fortune, about 8 adults and 6 kids Smile

All suggestions gratefully received

Big vat of chilli served up with-
Rice
Jacket potatoes
Taco shells
Cheese
Sour cream
Scallions
Jalepenos
Guacamole

Adults can add spice, kids can just have jackets with cheese. Easy, all prepped in advance, and a crowd pleaser.

Or
Slow cooked pork, shredded served with-
Rolls
Apple sauce
BBQ sauce
Potato salad
Coleslaw

I was going to say chilli but Nilbyname has beaten me to it.

Otherwise - loads of sausages and onions, rolls, salad.

Or a couple of quiches, jacket potatoes, salad, coleslaw.

Oh I like the pulled pork idea... Can be dealing with that many sausages and not a big chilli fan.

Thanks for the suggestions

Cassoulet. Cheap and very tasty. Serve with enormous bowl of buttered peas or a green salad.

Spaghetti bolognese, it's my go to group food. Or a roast.

A couple/three roasted chickens. Some jacket potatoes, bowl of salad.

Or chilli/curry is easy.
