The recipe seems popular on pinterest, and it looks nice in the pictures. But has anyone tried it? Is it nice? Is it really garlicky?

Here is the recipe I found. link

A whole cup of sugar ShockShock

Meh. I can't get worked up about that at all. 4-6 chicken breasts would equal 8 servings in this house, ie 2 dinners. So 1/8th of a cup per serving? Not like we are eating it every night.

And I would just use water instead of the fizzy soda.

It seems like a lot of sugar to me too, not concerned about health but I think it would taste overly sweet.

Sounds good.

I think I will give it a go this week. I sometimes don't like garlic which is why I was worried about how garlicky it would be, but last night we had garlic potatoes and I didn't think they were garlicky enough, so it will probably be ok.
