Squirrel Pie

Watching Jamie & Jimmy. I could sort of fancy making squirrel pie, as long as I could initially buy skinned & jointed meat, (I am a pheasant plucker, before you ask & will quite happily cut off their heads, feet & gut them).
When I do rabbit I wimp out & buy a whole rabbit that is skinned & gutted, although the head is still on. I don't know how squeamish I'd be with a squirrel.
What do you think? Will it/should it catch on?

I'd eat it, but there can't be that much meat on a squirrel, and so it might be quite fiddly to eat, like those stupid little posh birds you can get which are all bones.

Grin

I bought a quail (?) once on special, and thought it was going to be ambrosia, as I'd never eaten anything like that before. It was just fiddly little heap of nothing, full of bones, and looked (as it was) like a little body on the plate. Suspect the squirrel would be the same.

Does it taste nutty?
