Do I need to reheat frozen cooked ham?

We froze cooked gammon joint at Christmas, I've just defrosted it to make some soup. But I was also wondering if it's ok to eat it in a sandwich without heating it? Not sure what the rules are with frozen cooked meat!

Yes it's fine. I often cook a gammon, slice it & bag up slices to freeze. Pull them out as needed for sandwiches /toasties.
Loads cheaper than buying sliced ham!

Eyespot what a good idea! Can't believe I've not thought of doing that! My husband sandwiches for lunch always cost so much because I can't bring myself to buy cheap crappy ham for him!

I did write eyespy! It changed it to eyespot!

Yes it's a big saving. We have a lakeland electric meat slicer that does wafer thin slicing too. Get far more slices than you would by hand. Same thing works with turkey crown & any bone free joint.
