We live in London. Want to find a half day or full day cookery class for dh as a gift - he's more into meat than baking. Any recommendations gratefully received.

Zahda Saeed does curry courses. I went to them in Wilmslow before moving to France, so I could still have Indian food.

She's now living in London.

Caldesi in Marylebone do great courses, lots of variation, mostly Italian. Lovely place

Beware of L'atelier des Chefs. My son bought a gift card for £108 for my last birthday for us to do a class together. We were not able to book a class over the year. I telephoned them ONE DAY after it expired. The "manager" refused to let us use use our gift even though it was prepaid. Well I hope he treats his staff to a few drinks on us!!!

A friend did a day class at Waitrose. She said it was wonderful.

Recipease in Notting Hill (Jamie Oliver place) is pretty good.
Cookery School at Little Portland Street is supposed to be excellent and is v central.
Or how about a butchery day course?

Just had a peek at the Cookery School site and they do an Ultimate Meat and Poultry day course Smile
