Recipes to use up spare cadbury fudge bars?

We've got lots leftover from selection packs. Any ideas gratefully received. I like fudge, but wouldn't choose to eat the bars themselves so want to use them up in something the DDs might like rather than throw them away.

TIA

They really are the dregs of the selection box aren't they? I'm afraid I have no idea about recipes but will be interested to hear what others suggest.

Can you melt and make crispy cakes? No idea if that would work. Or add to cookie dough?

Iloveonionchutney · 23/01/2015 17:55

I put them in rocky road all chopped up!

Mrsbaconandbeans · 23/01/2015 18:00

Melt and make a sauce for icecream?

Mmmm..... cookies. DD1 loves making cookies. That might work if she chops up the fudge and uses that instead of choc chips. She has been making her cookie recipe since she was 7 and can do it off by heart. She's been known to get bored when we've been visiting friends and ask to make cookies in their kitchen... much to my friend's delight. :)

DD2 has used the choc buttons and the thin dairy milk bars (and the few dairy milk chocolates from the heroes tub) to make cornflake cakes.

I've always wanted to 'glue' lots together with melted chocolate to make a kind of Yule log and then cut slices off. It would still be fudge, but I like it, so....

Spare cadbury's fudge bars?! Confused

captainfarrell · 23/01/2015 18:09

Melt and coat pop corn with it!

Wonder if we have any angel delight anywhere? When I was a student and working in the Tesco staff canteen one of the desserts was a pot of angel delight topped with a bit of chopped up fudge.

Doesn't do it for me!

hugoagogo · 23/01/2015 18:15

I use fudges to make chic chip fudge chunk Madeira just cut them up and use instead of the fudge chunks- it is very easy and yum.

But honestly we would just eat them Smile

HollyBen · 23/01/2015 18:15

No recipe suggestions, but i will happily accept all donations of unwanted cadbury fudge bars

hugoagogo · 23/01/2015 18:16

captainfarrell · 23/01/2015 18:17

Pixa · 23/01/2015 18:19

Stuff into a banana and bake
Melt with milk/cream as a pancake or icecream sauce or to spoon over baked/tinned pears
Chop up and bake into muffins
Chop up and sprinkle liberally into bread and butter pudding before baking
Chop up and add to yohurt
Melt and use as a cake topping

RosyAuroch · 23/01/2015 18:27

chop up into brownies maybe

Patilla · 23/01/2015 18:29
  1. Parcel into an envelope
  2. Post to Patilla
  3. Patilla eats them
Pixa · 23/01/2015 18:34

I use this cheesecake recipe mostly, it's fab. Just substitute the maltesers for your fudge bars. Smile
