I thought all the chickens were vaccinated against salmonella these days which made bowl licking a much safer activity.

Greensleeves · 11/10/2006 15:24

I think so. I give mine ice cream which is made with raw egg yolks. Virtually all eggs these days are salmonella inoculated and all that jazz, aren't they?

Cake mix is nicer than cake imho

especially when stolen from the bowl aged six whilst Mum wasn't looking

My DD (3) has the bowl of cake mix all the time - in fact I think she now belives it's her right!

Having read all thats been said why do MW's still tell us not to eat undercooked eggs, as I am desperate for soft boiled and poached eggs.
