Basically, I'm going all out for Xmas Day with 2 starters:

Mini melon boats with parma ham and smoked salmon terrine with crackers. What are the best crackers for a terrine?

I was looking at the Ryvita thins range, but would they be enough? Or something a bit posh, but not too much flavour to take away the taste of the terrine? Any ideas? MTIA Smile

Jacobs do a nice salt and cracked black pepper or what about toast?
I bet Duchy Originals do some posh crackers.

Ask mil to make them?

Wineorcider · 14/12/2014 14:40

Jazz ha ha I would, but MIL is getting on a bit, and also looks after FIL due to his stroke so we're doing most of the stuff for her Smile

The Duchy Originals sound a good idea Jamnan Smile

Melba toast maybe? Can be made in advance as per this recipe.
