Chocolate chip tray bake cake, freezing advice needed, pretty please?

I currently have a chocolate chip tray bake cake in the oven which I don't want to eat until Monday. I presume it will be OK to freeze (although the recipe doesn't mention freezing) but would I freeze it whole, if so in or out the tin (it has to be left in the tin too cool) or cut it into portions, this would be easiest but would the cut edges go funny after being in the freezer?

Can you tell that we don't normally freeze cake in this house? It normally gets guzzled before it has even cooled.

leave in tray but cut it ,but if you are totally gonna defrost it again you may as well wait to cut it depends if you want to eat the whole thing at once

Thank you elclose, I'll give that a go, presumably I just wrap it well in foil or something.

I won't personally eat the whole thing at once, or at least I hope not but will probably defrost the lot on Monday so will leave it uncut, good to know that's an option though.

Thanks.
