Just say if one were to eat lentil soup 3 days on the trot, hypothetically speaking, would there be any...adverse reactions do you think, like, oh I don't know, possibly a slight wind problems or anything, perhaps, maybe??????

Yeah - tell "her" to go for it!!!

TBH if "your friend" is not used to eating a lot of fibre then her system may react. But it is something the body adjusts to.

Read somewhere that if you drink fennel or aniseed tea it counteracts the er ahem effects!
