Is there any difference when cooking with these?

Want to make a cake for ds birthday on friday, plus some biscuits for him if possible. Have not cooked with wheat&gluten free flour before. Is there anything I need to do with them. Standard recipes (for normal flour) do I just use the flour I got instead?

yes you need to add a teaspoon of xanthan gum or they'll crumble ..its a stabiliser

you can get in asda (its a powder) or from barbaraskitchen.co.uk

This may not be exactly your answer, but M&S do a really nice wheat-free choc-and-orange cake. For wheat-free bikkies, I would go to Sainsburys.

Not saying you shouldn't do your own, but if you get stuck and need an alternative, these are my suggestions.
