Can anyone help me work out the cooking times for this ginger cake?

I am making Nigella's ginger cake, although rather than making it in a tin, I have got a silicone ginger bread 6 muffin mould, like this.

The recipe states to cook for an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half. Can anyone tell me how long I should cook for if I am have divided the mixture into 6 very large muffin moulds?

Cake is currently in the oven, so speedy responses would be very helpful!

I'm far from being called up for GBBO, but in the absence of anyone else trying to help, I'd suggest giving them 40mins and then checking how cooked they look. Then every 5 minutes until you're happy that they're cooked through (top should spring back when poked gently and a skewer inserted in the middle should come out clean). HTH!

Thanks Optimist - I was thinking around 40 mins, but I am even less likely to appear on GBBO!

They're out.

Do I let them cool completely in the mould, or do I turn out first?

Ta da!!

They taste lovely. Perhaps a little too much black treacle for my liking, but our village has now been reduced to 5 houses.

Can anyone help me work out the cooking times for this ginger cake?
