Any tried trusted recipes out there for a novice like me? (A friend with more baking experience will help me, though.)
The recipe can't have egg, though, 'cause dd (for whom this bday cake is intended) is allergic to raw egg.
It's going to be for a pretty pink cake with hearts. . .so will look nice (I think) but feel free to say if you think Marzipan is a bad choice 4-year-olds in which case I'll maybe reconsider the icing.
