Slow cooker - which cuts of meat work well?

I'm looking to buy a slow cooker and wondered if anyone would mind giving me a few pointers as to what cuts of meat work well in the slow cooker? I don't eat much meat so could do with some help!
TIA

Any of the traditional cheaper cuts, such as beef brisket, chicken thighs etc work really well as the fat adds flavour and just melts, although you may want to put a saucer in the bottom to keep the meat out of the fat.

I like chicken thighs and lamb neck fillet. The lamb just melts in the mouth.

Stewing steak works well, we start it off on a bed of onions and then put sauce in after an hour or two.
Ham with brown sugar rubbed into the skin is amazing.
We've also done a Christmas Turkey in one, it worked really well Grin

I'd be interested to know that to Dancingqueen I'm not that keen on chicken thighs either but I have a feeling the chicken breasts will end up rather dry unfortunately.

Chicken breast will be fine in a slow cooker, if you put in a bit of liquid as well, they won't dry out Smile
We did a whole chicken today with only onions and apples in as well and it was very moist, definitely not dry Smile

My mum cooks gorgeous pork chops in hers.

Cheaper/fatter cuts of meat best for slow cooking.

I usually use boneless chicken thighs in the slow cooker if I'm doing chicken - they seem to hold flavour well and stay moist

Lamb shanks also work well
