Has anyone eaten____________PIGGS TROTTERS or seen them in the butchers??

Especially in scotland

They only cost 30 pence each

Would you serve them at a dinner party?

I can remember them from childhood but haven't seen any around where I live now - but there are hardly any butchers anyway, only meat counters at supermarkets....

They are probably still served at thoses trendy restaurants that specialise in offal!

And he served pigs trotters and put a trotter on the peoples plate

my Dad used to eat them and the smell of them cooking was vile.

We once went on a holiday from hell ... DS broke his leg, everyone got food poisoning... that kind of holiday. Final straw was towards the end of the second week, pigs trotters were on the dinner menu. Result... riots among the holiday makers.

He had left the hairs and nails {hoofs} on them too

I can't believe he scored so well! Must have been getting the ladies pissed which did it. His food looked vile. I'd have barely eaten a mouthful of any of it so I#d have been rolling on the floor with al the booze!
