Wasn't there a brilliant thread once about salads? Different types of salads. And soups too.

I can't find either. Both ended up really long, iirc.

I'm sure it was on this topic.

Anyone know the ones I mean?

Nope, but will place mark as I would like some inspiration.

And it's tricky to do a search on "soup"

Or "salad".

I may be going back some time Blush

Possibly 2 or three years ago, I'm sure 100+ posts???

I'll look at those properly though. Always nice to have some new ideas.

ah - before my MN time but sounds interesting : )

(To narrow down the search returns I just looked for ones I had posted on with salad in them, maybe someone who remembers posting on it will be able to find it that way)

I remember the soup one! It was in the autumn about two years ago and it was something like 'it's soup season'! Can't find it now though, have a horrible feeling it was in chat (hence the 100+ posts)

I have one- I actually can't say if it's nice if not thought, cos it's in the fridge for tomorrow's lunch!

I have leftover tomatoes, half a red onion, and nice big cubes of feta cheese, lots of salt and black pepper. I have nice vinegarette dressing to pop over it.

We spend a ridiculous amount on on food, so in an effort to use up food from the fridge, this is what I have concocted- I have to say, I'm quite looking forward to it!

This is a very nice salad with chickpeas and tomatoes and cucumber and herbs. And you get to read Esther talking about something amusing too.

Occasionally, if I am feeling sadistic, I make something he doesn't like but that he has to eat anyway because I made him his freaking dinner.
