What can I do with a load of herby ciabatta rolls?

DH bought 25 herb ciabatta rolls for £1.00 last night.

Great.
Except nobody likes them for a sandwich because they are too strong tasting. I would but am low carbing.

What can I do with them?

Would they work as garlic bread?

Notso · 16/08/2014 09:28

That is a good idea, the kids love garlic bread.

Freeze them in small batches.

You could probably spread them with garlic butter and freeze them for future use.

Cut into cubes for croutons in soup - freeze and toast when defrosted. Or could they work if sliced in half as individual pizza bases?

Make some into breadcrumbs and freeze them. Then you can fry them from frozen until crisp and golden and scatter them over pasta dishes or salads...

Kids will love the pizza bases.
I bunged them all in the freezer but will def be using all your ideas.
