What I did once was cook broccoli and mix it with Philadelphia in the blender, then serve it with pasta. Was nice and creamy, and I think would be much improved by adding shredded salmon to it.

Thank you very much everybody. Alienears, do you think I could use full fat philadelphia cheese with rigattoni pasta and salmon instead? Would it be okay to gently melt full fat philadelphia cheese?

cook some pasta
cook some brocoli
put pasta, brocolli, philedelphia and creme fraiche in a bowl with the salmon
stir
eat

feckit · 14/09/2006 22:27

gently fry garlic
add passata (or blended tomatoes)
melt phili in it
chuck in salmon and fresh basil
chuck on pasta

Now give us a difficult one!

Difficult one? How about without passata/blended tomatoes?

Hi, everyone, thank you very much for all your suggestions. I cooked my dish and it was very nice if I may say so myself. I'd like to share with you what i've done. I had rigatoni pasta but it's possible to use tagliattelle as it's stated in Philadelphia smoked salmon tagliatelle recipy from www.philadelphia.co.uk.
I've adapted it and I used 300g pasta, 4 spring onions finely sliced, 100g philadelphia full fat soft cheese, 6 tbspoons milk, 1/2 juice of lemon, 100 g. smoked salmon cut into strips and just followed the instructions apart from I took the onions off the heat, stir the cheese with milk in and when it was all smooth, put it back on the heat. it's definately going to be on our menu now.
