If I make a lasagne on Saturday morning, will it sit in the fridge til Sunday lunchtime?

We have friends coming for the weekend. We plan to BBQ for one meal and have lasagne etc for the other but I'm trying to be flexible so we can decide whether to bbs sat eve or Sunday lunchtime. I don't want to faff with any cooking after they arrive Saturday afternoon. Do you reckon it'll be ok?

Yes.

You mean layer it all up on Saturday and then shove it in the oven to cook on Sunday? Will be fine.

JeanBodel · 27/07/2014 17:49

Yes. In fact it will be tastier.

Yep it will be better for it. We're never organised or patient enough tho. Sounds yum

It will be amazing! I think you're supposed to do it that way anyway.

Yes definitely! Smile

Yes. We often do one for now and one for 2-3 days later and it's always fine.

You should wait for the ingredients to cool down before you assemble the lasagne. It will taste lovely - I think it sort of matures.

Brilliant, thanks
