Yummy nibbly food to take to a friend's house

OK so a newish friend has invited a group of people round for food and drink in a "everyone bring something nibbly" sort of context.

I am devoid of inspiration and the sopping order goes in today. HELP!

Olives, nice bread sticks, houmous, sweet chilli dip, mini pitta breads, big prawns, mini chicken kebabs, mini quiches (made in muffin tray) spring rolls,

Mini quiches is inspired!

Big bag of posh crisps and some crackers and cheese always go down well.

Or go for the sweet stuff and take a box of nice chocolate and some a cake.

I love get together so where it's easy and informal with everyone taking some nibbles.

Prosecco tends to go very well with all sorts of nibbly bits

It is sort of nibbles-in-place-of-dinner so I think I will mix up something substantial and homemade (quiches are an ace idea, thank you :)) with posh crisps and a cake or pudding.

Pigs in blankets and devils on horseback go down well here. As does taking along a Camembert to bake with things to dip in.

I normally make my own salsa and guacamole for dipping. Also do a lovely salad with pear, buffalo mozzarella, chilli, olive oil and basil.

Hmm quiche!

The lat time I was invited to a friends house I took a selection of continental meats ( from Aldi ) and arranged them artfully on a wooden chopping board with some bread and olives...that got demolished in minutes
