Lasagne. It never goes right for me.

I love lasagne.

My lasagne is always like sheets of poppadoms or soggy paper. Really unpleasant.

Where am I going wrong? Please give me your top lasagne tips.

we always use fresh lasagne sheets rather than dried sheets

Sounds like there's not enough liquid in your sauces to enable the dried pasta sheets to cook properly?

What's your recipe?

I also do not always get along very well with lasagne sheets.

Because of this I quite often instead layer cooked pasta shells and bolognese mince in an oven dish and then top with white/bechamel/cheese sauce and pop it in the oven for a bit.

(and when pressed for time it sometimes just gets served as pasta and bolognese mince with the sauce on without it ever seeing an oven)
