I have decorated a cake with whipped cream today but the recipient can't pick it up till tomorrow. Will it keep?

It's the first time I have used whipped cream and it's not been easy!

It's got jam inside and whipped cream & strawberries on outside plus a fondant declaration.

If it stays in the fridge overnight will it keep?

Well it will but it won't be as nice. Cream is always best eaten on the day it was whipped. However it WILL still be edible.

Definitely make sure you cover it if possible so that it doesn't pick up flavours from other stuff in the fridge. Will it fit in a sealed box or tin?

Thanks - I am a bit gutted because I think the cream will go a little 'flat'. I have stored it in a cake box, fingers crossed its ok tomorrow.

It needs to be stored in the fridge but this could cause your fondant to 'sweat'. I generally try and avoid fresh cream at all costs.
