Hi,

I just had to tell the world that I achieved a miracle in our house yesterday.

Decided serious action was needed to introduce DD (3 soon)to better habits. So we went shopping together and I let her choose lots of different vegetables. The we came home and I let her help me make them all into a soup, with added pearl barley. Then for dinner last night I gave her a bowl - although I included her favorite tinned hotdogs all cut up. But because the soup was so thick it stcuk to the hotdogs and I finally got some wholesome food in to her. She was hapy to eat the soup as she had joined in with the cooking of it. Now I have a freezer full.
Added bonus was DH - who has limited veg consumption also had to eat it for dinner and without knowing ate cabbage and mushrooms too. Which he would normally completely refuse.

I feel so bigheaded right now - I cant begin to say!

You must be over the moon

I used to bliz up loads of veg for dp when we were first together (he wouldn't eat them either) and then put curry spices in it and meat and serve it as a curry! - It worked

Fabulous, I might have to try that, though, my two usually flatly refuse any kind of soup.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm could be on the menu for tomorrows dinner i think.
