What do you have with chilli con carne?

I have recently discovered this lovely chilli and since it's going down a storm with the whole family, it's going to be in regular rotation. I've done it three times now and had it with rice, peas and corn, but it all seems a bit mushy to me, even though it tastes nice. I had a bowl of left overs for my lunch the other day with a dollop of sour cream grated cheese and crackers and I liked the bit of crunch. I have found it really hard to get salt free tortilla chips and when I tried baking tortilla wraps cut into chips, it all got a bit singed. So, what interesting ways do you serve chilli?

Brown rice. Although I'd run out and only had a packet of cous cous with seeds in handy the other night and I chucked an extra handful of sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds in. The extra texture was really nice!

On top of cheese on toast.

My DP introduced me to it as a way of having leftovers, but it's so nice I have it just like that each time.

Try spreading some warm chilli over a half cooked naan bread. Springle some cheese over, then pop back under the grill till cheese melted. Lush!

Rice mostly - cornbread and nachos and sometimes just a bowl of chilli with avocados

I have it with plain boiled rice and a nice mixed salad. Yum.

Pitta bread, halved and used as pockets.

Use turkey thigh mince for a low fat version.
