Yes buy large chicken, Roast it, Save some for sandwiches, and then use the leftovers for a pie or something.

Finally don't waste the carcass - boil the life out of it and make a stock with it!

Frittas, with left over bioled spuds cut up and fried, some frozen peas/ sweetcorn/ chopped fried onions/ any stray bits of meats you might have/ sliced tomato. Mix it all together in a fryingpan.

Add beatedn eggs to cover and cook through. Top with a bit of grated cheese if you have some and grill to finish off. Great hot or cold

Do you have flour, milk? Get some eggs and make pancakes, or do big pan Yorkshire puds and serve with onion gravy - very filling and satisfying.

Do you have herbs and spices at all in cupboards? Red lentils, tin tomatoes, one onion, sweetcorn, and some curry powder makes a surprisingly tasty meal.
