what to do with 2 old bottles of white wine plonk?

So I am clearing cupboards and find 2 bottles of white wine - cheap crap that my DP won at go karting years ago. The rational part of me says just throw them away. The little bit of yorkshire in me says maybe they could be used? Maybe with some cordial/fruit liqueur and lots of ice to provide an alcoholic hit one nice summers evening.
What do you think - am I crazy and need to be guided to the wheely bin? Or can you suggest what I could use to mask what is bound to be a cheap nasty wine taste?

I would make some of Nigel Slaters creamy mustard pork chops with half a btl, then next night his roasted lemon, basil chicken pieces with the other half. Get loads of extra chicken pieces (legs, thighs and breast and make a big casserole for the freezer with the second bottle. Maybe keep 1 glass worth to freeze for cooking some other time u need white wine.

I'd bin.

I don't cook with anything I wouldn't drink. Cheap nasty wine will show through in whatever you put it in.

Well I know she said it was cheap 'crap' but maybe it was more cheap than crap. I wouldnt waste it and think it would be fine for cooking unless totally vile when u try it.

I'd try it first and if it was really awful, I'd chuck it, but if it was okay I'd make risotto with it. Or, yes, a punch of some sort (with elderflowers if they are still out where you are?)

Thanks all - probably a good call to try and then decide if it's salvageable or not. Actually have some arborio rice that needs using up and will do some experimenting with cordials we have in the house...
I am not expecting it to be much good though as it's from a go karting track!

This is my favourite recipe using white wine

Meh, send it to me. I'll drink it.

Send it into school for the tombola? There are bottles in this village that have been going round for years!
