Planning the food for DD1's 6th birthday party coming up soon.
Expecting around 12 kids at our house.
The plan is to do mini burgers and fries for everyone (this was DD1's request). There will be music and games and a "disco". Timing is 3-6pm.
I usually have a table of party food laid out from the start but thinking that if they all fill up on snack stuff they won't be hungry for burgers.
So maybe just a few bits and bobs laid out at the beginning - but what?
Then will serve burgers around 5pm, and then cake.
I'll probably make the burgers myself. Can I cook them in advance and reheat? Or will they be like shoe leather? (Fries will be done in oven).
Any other ideas for things to serve alongside? DD wanted hotdogs too but I think that might be overkill...
TIA :-)
