Is it ok to freeze cooked meals made with formula instead of cows milk? I have made leek and potato soup and added formula and there is extra left over that I wanted to freeze?

Hi, as far as I know yes it is ok to freeze meals that contain formula milk. My youngest DD was allergic to cows milk so had to have soya (formula) which I used to mash her potato with and added to various meals which I blitzed up and froze. She never had a problem eating them/digesting etc and I was never advised not to by the health visitors etc. Hope this helps.

I used to do this when batch cooking with potato aswell if the leftover soup has been kept in the fridge it should be ok as there are all those rules about how long it should be made up for?
