what can I make with a pint of double cream?!

we were supposed to have guests round for lunch today, and I bought the cream in anticipation of making some chocolate tarts and a pavlova. However, they have cancelled on us (for very sensible reasons, so not annoyed!), and I thus have all this cream to use, which goes off tomorrow!

I might still make a meringue for a pavlova for us, but then would still have half a pint left to use...

any ideas for simple recipes I could do?

thanks!

Cream. Green beans. Pesto.
Really lovely pasta sauce. The more cream the better!

Sweet chilli chicken

Marinade some chicken breasts (we use mini fillets ) in sweet chilli dipping sauce, then gently cook the meet, with the sauce and some garlic (crushed), add some more chilli sauce and once the chicken in cooked through, reduce the heat right down and stir in the cream.

Serve with salad and chip, or rice, or pasta, or anything really.

Cream can go in most things. In curries, pasta salad, pasta sauce, even in rice.

Whip it up and freeze it in portionsSmile. It freezes perfectly.

I'd make a very easy ice cream - whip up add condensed milk, taste, should be slightly too sweet - ice cream loses sweetness when frozen. It will not need to be churned and will be delicious. Add your favourite flavour before freezing - passion fruit, raspberry ripple, honeycomb, vanilla etc.

Fudge, really easy, and makes cream then last a long time.
