the Rick Stein India book - best recipes pl?

I got it a year ago and it is as yet untouched

The masala egg curry thing was amazing, much better than the sum of it's parts, we loved the muligatawny too.

Yes I've got it too, loved the TV series but still not used it. I think one thing that put me off was the amount of unusual ingredients listed at the back of the book. I'm sure I could find them if I put a bit of effort in but I won't find them in Sainsbury's!

I loved the series too but couldn't get into the book with the odd titles and recipes, also we eat a lot of chicken breast and there are hardly any recipes!!!!

I wish the book had come with a DVD of him making some of the recipes he made in the TV show, I always really wanted to make them afterwards!
