I boiled a pan dry the other day. Popped upstairs for something, saw the computer, sat down for a 'quick' look and forgot about the pan. DH was not amused, they are his very-expensive-very-posh-look-after-my-precious-pans.

Today I got so sucked in to MN (did you all see the BJ thread??) that I realised it was 10 til 3 and had to hoof it up the road to get DS from school! Imagine if I looked at my watch and it was 10 PAST 3!!!!

I'm very prone to that kind of thing too so my dh bought my a wireless connection and now I'm cooking dinner with my laptop on the work surface next to me!!!!

Dinner can now be eaten. Mind you I'm a crap cook so all bets are off.

i left my daughter to draw all over the bedroom with her crayon and go in the kitchen to spill a carton of juice all over the floor!!

I have burnt loads of stuff.
I've learnt that I always need to use the timer on the cooker now.
