I have no beef stock, what can I use?

For a beef casserole, maybe with Guinness. I have other stocks and marmite?

add red wine, dried or fresh sage and any stock you like (not fish)

I was going to suggest chicken with a tsp marmite. Should be fine Smile

I'd use veg or chicken stock. Then add some Worcester sauce for richness. I'm not keen on adding marmite as it's so salty if you're using stock anyway. Maybe some red wine too.

I sometimes use Bovril. Works pretty well.
