Just bought chicken kebabs with use by of 18 April - would you still cook and eat?

Ive just bought some chicken pieces marinated in sweet chilli, they were in the discounted section so though these will be fine today with wraps etc..

Just realised the use by date is 18 April

would you still eat them once cooked?

It's the 18th today isn't it?

Of course I'd eat them, why wouldn't you? They are still in date if you eat them today.
