Can I still make them and take them to eat cold in a pita with salad?

They are Hairy Dieters so lower in fat than normal burgers.

Thanks.

Yes, but they'd be pretty grim cold, especially without lashings of some kind of mayo-style sauce. Not great seeing as you've made the front to go low fat.

Can you make the patties and freeze them for cooking on another day? Take something wake to the picnic?

Or use the meat to make meatballs? They'd be a bit more palatable cold than burgers.

Isn't there a kofta recipe in that book? They are by far the tastiest mince meal to be eaten cold. Meat on sticks seems fine at a picnic, whereas I agree a cold burger is a grim option

just make the burgers on sunday, or shepherds pie or something else - cold burgers? no ta. Meal planning is useful but its not written in stone, surely?

can you make meatballs instread?
put some cheese in the mix to keep them moist.

Add some spices, chop small and mix with salad. Yummy.

No not written in stone but we are going on a picnic on Sunday also. Will have a look at my meal plan again and have a rethink.

Thank you for your replies.
